Thank you for participating in WordPress Accessibility Day 2025 and being part of the community making the web more accessible to everyone.
This was our 5th WordPress Accessibility Day, and every year I learn something new. The organizing team was in constant communication, making the event happen behind the scenes, and in a moment of reflection, we noted how amazing it is to be able to run a conference with 28 speakers from around the world, all sharing expertise around accessibility. In the first years of this event, it was difficult to find 24 unique talks from people who were not the “same” people you saw speaking about accessibility everywhere. It was challenging to find enough volunteers to staff a 24-hour event, as well as sponsors to cover the costs of running it.
This has changed significantly thanks to all of you! This year, we had 2,297 attendees from 64 countries.
This event wouldn’t be possible without our amazing team of organizers and volunteers, and the generous support of our sponsors. And of course it wouldn’t be an event at all without all of you who show up to watch sessions, engage in the chat, and encourage others to attend on your social media – sometimes very late into the night or early in the morning.
Stay Connected
Here are ways to stay connected, keep learning, and contribute to WordPress accessibility until our next event.
Tell us About Your Experience
Your feedback is important! It will be used to improve WordPress Accessibility Day next year. Anonymously submit feedback about the whole event or any individual session on our Feedback page.
Optionally, you can enter to win a WordPress Accessibility Day t-shirt. Feedback will be accepted through Tuesday, October 21.
Watch Session Recordings
All sessions were recorded. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors and donors, we were able to upgrade to Zoom Events this year. One of the most significant benefits of this upgrade is that you can access instant replays for any session right now!
The Zoom lobby will stay open through October 31st, and you can log in to watch videos at your convenience until then. Note that the Zoom video archive includes captions and a transcript, but does not include the sign language interpretation. ASL will be included in the final videos published on our website.
We’ll be working on those final edits over the next few weeks. Once complete, you’ll be able to find full videos with captions, transcripts, and ASL on the event website. Stay subscribed to our email list to get notified when these videos are available.
Get your swag!
It’s not too late to get sponsor swag or enter to win prizes from sponsors. Visit sponsor pages on our website to get swag and enter for a chance to win great prizes. Prize entries will be accepted until 11:59 PM U.S. central time tonight.
Keep Learning at WordPress Accessibility Meetup
Want to keep learning? Attend a WordPress Accessibility Meetup! These free meetups happen twice a month via Zoom and are live captioned. Meetups are held on the first Thursday of the month and the third Monday. View upcoming meetups on Meetup.com
