Helen Hou-Sandí is the Staff Software Engineering Manager for Accessibility Engineering at GitHub and one of five Lead Developers on the WordPress open source software project. As a technologist, she has built a career as a leader in open source software and management, and cares deeply about building and sharing great and accessible user experiences. Having been a professional musician in a previous life, Helen believes in the value of the intersection of technique and artistry in all aspects of life, including software.
