About Ahmed Kabir Chaion
Ahmed Kabir Chaion is a long-time Contributor to WordPress sponsored by Rocket.net. In addition to that, he also serves as one of the Team Reps for Making WordPress Polyglots and the former Team Rep for Making WordPress Global Design. He is one of the Co-organizers for the Dhaka WordPress Meetup chapter. He’s been an organizer for WordCamp Asia since 2023. Aside from contributing to WordPress, he is a Diplomacy Mentor working closely with educational institutions in Bangladesh, Australia, Nigeria, etc.
Ahmed helps candidates with Language Proficiency Exams such as IELTS, TOEFL & PTE. During the pandemic, he joined WEDU Global as a Mentor to help support Asian women with mentorship and guidance for their academic and career growth. He has also appeared as a judge for the Hult Prize 2019-20 & 2020-21 ๐๐ฏ-๐๐ข๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ด competitions, the worldโs largest student entrepreneurship event with funding of $1 Million (in partnership with the United Nations).
Ahmed has been a Core Contributor to every single major release of WordPress since the 5.6 version. Furthermore he has been recognized as a Noteworthy Contributor for WordPress 5.8, 5.9, 6.0. 6.1, 6.3, 6.5 and 6.7 major releases.
