Media partners have been a part of WordPress events for a long time, and their involvement in helping get information distributed more widely has been instrumental in the growth of WordPress events and the WordPress community.
This year, for WordPress Accessibility Day (WPAD), we are pleased to invite media partners to help spread the word about all the exciting things that happen as we prepare for and implement WPAD 2025.
What You’ll Get:
- Visibility – Your logo, description, and backlink are featured on the WPAD Media Partners page
- Early Access – Get first access to event announcements
- Community Engagement – Connect with the WPAD community and industry leaders
We believe that media partners already understand how important accessibility is, and by partnering with us, we can help others understand that, too.
What We’re Asking:
Together, we can promote the WPAD event in October, but also advocate for the importance of accessibility for a better web experience for every site visitor, especially those with disabilities.
To make the partnership meaningful, media partners agree to:
- Promote WPAD before, during, and after the event
- Publish at least one piece of long-form content (blog, newsletter, podcast, or video) about WPAD
- At least one social post before, during, and after the WPAD event
- Attend the event (virtually) and engage with key sessions
- Occasionally boost (repost in social channels) WPAD’s original posts
Any media organization with a newsletter, news website, podcast, video channel, and social presence is invited to apply for a media partnership.
